I may be looking at buffing or maybe wet sanding some scratches and wondered if anyone's done any on their Forester. any decent paint depth to sand and buff out scratches?

The basecoat or primaer can't be black on a silver Sube, can it? My black marks must be on or scratched into the paint so should be able to come out. I hate trying to color match silvers if It needs a respray.

I would try 3M rubbing compound before wetsanding. Its abrasive enough to cut through swirl type scratches if used properly.

Mine are deeper than surface but I will make an offer on this one and take a chance.
