- I went to start my car this morning, and it was dead. Not responding to key fob. Opened door manually, got in, Nothing, dead.
- opened back door manually,
Grabbed jumper cables, (now kept right behind back seat, because this happened before, and I couldn’t access them previously).
- got a boost from a neighbour (thankfully), and off I went.
Radio did not work. It was dead, but everything else came back to life.
Made it to work, albeit late. C’est la vie.

- later I checked the fuses, under “audio”, in engine and in car, and both fuses were ok.

So other than the Radio everything seems fine.

? Now what?? Any Suggestions/thoughts?

Obviously you had a dead battery and you should make sure your charging system isn't part of the problem.
Some radios are equipped with a fail safe that makes them unusable once power is removed so they can't be stolen and sold.
If this is the case there is a sequence that needs to be done to wake up the radio. Take a look in the owners manual.

K, someone responded to this situation on another forum:

* As suggested - I disconnected the negative terminal of the battery for a couple of minutes, and then reconnected it,
And now my radio works! Woohoo. Presets are gone, but that’s no biggie. Wow, Glad it wasn’t anything major, and just a simple procedure :)
