I was out of town and needed an oil change, so I took it to the dealer because I didn't know anyone in town and their cost was reasonable. They put in "Subaru semi-synthetic" oil. My question is, if I ever have to add some oil (although it doesn't burn oil) what oil do I mix in? Do I have to go to the dealer and buy a quart of Subaru semi-synthetic? Do I have to use Subaru oil from now on for oil changes?

Thanks,

Paul

IF you have to add oil, just add oil. You won't break anything.

Go back to whatever oil you were using before when you change it out. You'll never notice the difference.

cool... we had a lot of 2nd cousins in Newbery... my Dad called them the "Newbery Bunch". I live just outside of Williamsport now, but I always say Williamsport because at least some people have heard of it... Little League World Series and all.
