Plus Rockblocker aka Ultrashield is much thicker than window tint, hence the name rockblocker. It really works.

Is it hard to take the rockblocker off once they are installed???
No, it is not...but then you cannot reapply it. Not sure why you would want to take it off once you put it on b/c it is protecting your lights.

It is easy to install as well. Go w/ rockblocker and you won't be sorry.

The only way I would buy these is if the yellow covers actually did something besides just covering the lights.
Im looking for the yellow to be projected down the road also...yellow light is better than white...

So basically what you are saying is the purpose is just to protect your headlights?
The "hinge" doesnt say enough.
Do they make the headlights any dimmer on the road?
Thanks

Nick

they do not dim the headlights/light output
they do not interfere with light output

i should know,
i have them on my daily driven impreza (hid blue)

the goal is not to CREATE a yellow fog light

but they do alter the light output to a yellow hinge/tint

the primary function of the product is to keep your
fogs and headlights from shattering/obtaining rock damage

the only color which interferes with light output is the smoked
"smoke" is very dark and likely just for a "show" car....
i would not recommend the product for street use.

The yellow film is more for protection and looks. It changes the color of the light slightly, but just to the point where it's is not truly white anymore. It doesn't project a yellow beam; if that's what you're looking for you probably need to add yellow bulbs.

Rockblocker - http://www.rockblocker.net/breakdown.htm
and/or
Hot Subaru - http://www.hotsubarus.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=74
Not only good looks, but some protection to boot.
Looking over the Rockblocker instructions right now, and it seems pretty easy to do, and looks great in the pics. I'm thinking about ordering from Subaru Genuine Parts. Only question is that when I clicked on the 03-05 fog light page, at the bottom it says it fits the 06 model. I'm guessing this is just a typo and it is the correct one:
