I noticed that The Daddy Wagon's MY05 has Aluminum-finished roof rails.

I was wondering if this was US standard spec?

Does anyone have an idea of where I can get them?

The standard factory fit black ones that come with the UK model are nice...but if your forester is black, the ali ones look wicked.

Mine had Aluminum Finished. Try one of the online Subaru Parts houses in their body repair section. Prepare to pay a bit for shipping.

Good Idea - I had been looking in Accessories , but if it is a standard part I should be able to find a Subaru Part Number for it.

Is it just me or do all of the US online parts shops not stock replacement rails for the Forester? I'm having a nightmare getting an official part number for the aluminum roof rails that come with the US spec Forester XTs.

If anyone could point me at a website (or human on the end of an email address) who could get me a part number I'd really appreciate it!

US spec foresters have the aluminum rails. Even the black foresters get the aluminum colored rails.

The aluminum rails are standard issue for the USDM FXT. You may want to contact Roo for more info (part number, availability etc.).
