We had a freak hail storm yesterday and I happened to be driving home from work when it hit. I stopped under a bridge until it stopped but when I continued, the hail started again and got as big as grapes. I pulled over and it lasted about a minute. When I got home I noticed some barely noticeable (HIGHLY noticeable to me) dents in the hood. What can I do?

Unless you are trained in the art of PDR (paintless dent removal), you'll have to hire a good PDR guy.

I use the Dent Wizard over here. The Dent Wizard is everywhere, prices reasonable. You may be able to find someone cheaper tho.

Oh, yeah...you're insurance can cover?

Our hood was pummelled in a hailstorm last spring here in Toronto. Two body shops wanted to replace the hood on the basis that the cost of PDRing the hundreds of dents would be cost-prohibitive. We expressed a preference for PDR and our insurer happily paid the additional cost.

The results were amazing - no hint of any dents, and we got to keep our existing hood!
