Who here has installed an ADF lift kit themselves?

I have been sitting on mine/putting it off for way too long and its finally time to get my act together.

The reason behind sitting on it for so long is the fact that I am scared of majorly messing something up. So who here has installed a lift themselves, what should I watch out for, and truly how dumb am I to think I can do it myself?

I should also note that while I can't change timing belts, my mechanic know how is fairly decent.

I wouldn't rate it as being all that difficult. Just may take longer with less experience. If you've worked on suspension parts at all in the past it's helpful for the install. Like if you've swapped struts before it isn't a big deal.

I agree with tayunz, rather easy and straight forward install.
Good project to start with, easier than replacing a strut or spring as you don't need to compress the spring or unbolt the strut. Great way to build confidence.
ADF's instructions are very clear and well thought out, follow them and you wont have any problems.
Good Luck! and Have Fun!
