I imagine (ducks) you simply pour some in a certain mix to the reservoir when the car is cold or............do you have to carry out a coolant change/flush at the sametime?

You can just add it, but depending on how old your antifreeze is, I would change it if it's been over a year. Make sure that if you do flush it, re-fill with half undiluted Anti-freeze half DISTILLED water. Add the conditioner half way into filling it (the coolant system takes just under 8 quarts....4 undiluted coolant, 4 distilled water)

But if you changed it recently, just add to the coolant system (NOT THE OVERFLOW BOTTLE). Not sure of your year, but on my 04, the radiator doesn't have a fill point, it's on a reservoir tank above the engine on the left. Other years have a fill point on the radiator itself.
