Hi...we've been so happy with our 2016 Forester (first Subaru we bought...and have owned vehicles since 1975 :smile2: ), that when we needed to replace our 17-year old 2nd vehicle, we wound up ordering a 2019 Crosstrek. Would have likely bought another Forester, but sadly they've discontinued the manual transmission. If I have a wish list of features on a vehicle I'm considering, the manual is the first on the list, and those that don't offer it are removed from the list. Subaru Canada doesn't seem to order enough manual's to meet demand...it seems that most if not all are spoken for before they land here. So we had to get the dealer to order it from the factory, and it'll take about 12 weeks to arrive. But looking forward to it...I didn't realize until I looked into it further that the Forester & Crosstrek are very similar...same platform, just 3 inches lower & 6 inches shorter.
