Well then, last w-end I was lucky enough to visit Abercrombie N.P with the Subaru & Recreational 4WD Club & lets just say we had a great time.
There were 8x vehicles in total; 4x Foresters, 1x Jeep & 3x Toyota's (Prado, Hi-Lux & 60 Series)

Our first challenge for the day was this hill climb, & lets just say it was a beauty. Two (2) of the Forry's made it up 1st go (our trip leader & myself) The MY10 Forry made it on it's 2nd attempt while Kevin almost made it (90%) & needed a little bit of a helping hand for the last few metres.

The Jeep & Prado just walked it up to the top with ease The 60 Series had a few dramas however & needed to be winched to the top (we used the Jeeps winch due to it being in such an awkward position)

Apart from that, the rest of th trip was completed with no further recoveries being required.

Some of the places we visited there were The Sink, The Beach, Licking Hole, Ledinghams Hut & Silent Creek at which we camped.

The best way to describe the rest of the trip, with it's steep hill climbs & decents, aswell as the magic scenery that was all around, is by showing it in pics.

There's some more pics from the trip Here

Thats an awesome hill, would love to give that a run. Looks like the foresters sort of thing.

Great pics. Thanks
Is that Kevins Foz, with what looks like a roof-top tent?
Must see pics of the tent up if that's what it is.

It sure was.

I was able to get some video of that hill (Bald Hill) from one of the guys that was on the trip with us.

This is what it looked like from his point of view whilst slowly crawling up it in his vehicle.
