I have a base model 2009 X model forester, 4 speed auto trans. with 100,000 km (60,000 miles). The A/C clutch is shot and I have ordered a replacement, but the heater blower also quit working too. It is a manual 4 speed blower control
The clutch is still bolted to the compressor, but I have removed the stretch belt from the clutch pulley until the new part arrives. The clutch was very hot and some fine black grit and some fine copper filings were visible around the clutch and belts. Does the wiring from the clutch affect the blower? All the fuses are good. Does anyone have experience they can share to help me get this fixed?
