i have a new to me 1999 5 speed manual forester w/ 88k miles. the question is, should there be any torque/wheel binding during tight turns? you know diff. clunking, wheel hop. etc. my automatic impreza and legacy never did/do that. but my old GL-10 turbo 5 speed sure did when 4wd was engaged.
i know there are different awd systems for manual and auto, and havent driven manual subi since mid 90's. was wondering what is normal and what is not.

Welcome to the board!

If you get any of that behavior on a Subaru AWD car, then you have something broken.
