Hi all, new to the forum because I have a question about tires. will tires from an 01 forester - 205/70R15 fit on a 99 forester (S) 215/60R16? Love to be able to change out the tires from the 01 to the 99. thanks in advance.

Possibly dumb answer, but your '01 15" tires will not fit on the '99 16" wheels. :icon_wink:

As long as you don't have upgraded brakes (Brembos, 4-pots, or LGTs) Swapping wheels AND tires, will fit as that is the base and L model size for your Forester.

As said swapping the wheels and tires between them is a go.

Just tires, keeping wheels, no.
