First, I may be new here, but this is far from my first suby - I currently own 3 others.

So I went to scan the CEL code yesterday, and I can't seem to locate the port. It looks like there is a spot under the steering column, just like on my wrx. But, it's an empty hole. I dug around a bit, but I don't see the connector anywhere. Did they hide it in a strange spot like on my 97 brighton?

I actually found it about 10 minutes ago. It was tucked up above the fuse panel. How the hell it got there, I have no idea.

I have read in here before that some of the 98's had a sprecial plug, and no standard odb2 port. There is an adaptor for it though. Someone with a 98 confirm this?
