89-94 Legacy strut swap?

I have a 94 Legacy AWD wagon that I've chopped into a ute. I also have a 98 Foz I would like to lower. Would the struts swap around between the two?

If the struts do swap, do I need to do anything more to the Forester? (I know I need trailing arm spacers on the legacy)
