4-Color LED Headlights—What do you think?

Bringing you something a little different to kick the week off, Boslla is offering the first ever 4-color LED headlights via Kickstarter. Having variable color temperature to deal with fog or other inclement weather sounds like a half decent idea in theory, and at $49 per set the price isn't half bad either. On the top end they're cranked up to 6500K, and on the lower end they step down to 3000K. Manufacturing quality seems solid as well, and they expect to start delivering next month (after the end of the Kickstarter campaign). What do you think?

This is not a typical vendor. It is a wholly owned activity of the site's owners. It was introduced without prior notice or coordination across their entire domain of automobile sites. We are not alone.

Our all-volunteer, Subaru-loving staff (mods and admins) has no control over it. We are very actively passing along member feedback for consideration by the site's owners, and hopefully even some action.

Agreed. Forums are nothing without their members. Allowing clickbaiters to post as a 'vendor' shows nothing but contempt for those members.

If you don’t want to see these posts then I suggest you add this vendor to your ignore list i.e. User CP / Settings & Options / Edit Ignore List. Their posts will then appear as “This message is hidden because WiseGuide Deals is on your ignore list.”

Also as suggested use thread ratings to show your displeasure and eventually the message may get through!

Is this really DOT legal and can be used as halogen lamp substitute?

I plan on using the default 6500K white most of the time which is basically what my current LED fogs are shining. I backed the campaign for 2 sets and I plan on trying them out as fogs on my vehicles. I'm not too concerned with law enforcement since I would only be using the yellow during rain/fog and they've got more important things to do.

I posted a question a while back on the privacy concerns on sign up. Having read the privacy provisions, I wasn't particularly happy. This doesn't help.

Someone just added a review of the Boslla 4-color LED bulbs on YouTube. Now I'm really looking forward to getting these into my Forester. Backed it for 2 sets. I will be using them in the Foz fog lights and my VW Atlas.
