Hey all, just figure I would share what I have been working on lately with you all. Had some fun reverse engineering the arms for the cupholders then printing them out (many, many times) to replace my broken ones. Still needs a few tweaks but it is mostly how I want it:

@Kevin Whenever I get given the parts

Right now I am doing custom tail lights for the First Generation Toyota Celica, I've been working on them for the past 3 years but just now have the capability to do extremely high quality transparent plastics.

As always, if anyone needs anything done let me know. I enjoy doing reverse engineering/manufacturing in small volumes and being a student, I happen to have some free time!

Very cool!

I'm actually checking Goodwill and the like for the old style cup holder that mounted on the door by hooking into the window opening. I don't like the stock front seat ones, because they block so much of the dash when in use. And yeah, are very flimsy.

@TanStin, how are you doing the transparent plastic?
A friend and I split "Digital Light Processing" Printer that handles UV curable resin instead of filament. This way items can be made (mostly) clear, instead of having the patterning.

See, and I don't mind the blockage so I guess it's not a big deal on my end. Plus, with my heater on, it keeps my coffee warm!

I notice a considerable strength increase with these printed ones as I added internal structure inside, and they are PLA instead of ABS so they are a little less brittle. I am going to have them printed from Nylon next to make them super-strength
