Tap and Die set from Screwfix?

If anything special, Nut and Bolt Store (Namrick) , Portland Road, Portslade - They sell every kind of nut, bolt, tap, die etc known to man - They don't stock the odd JIS stuff though. Only Mon-Fri and half day Saturday though.
Thanks for the answers guys I should have mentioned its an 3/8 npt its a tapered thread not parallel , due to the british going metric (badly) these old imperial sizes are hard to get at short notice .

for some reason I never get anything from amazon next day(thanks for the suggestion) , which I did see on the old interweb before posting as indeed I see that tool station and screwfix and machine mart don't provide this only in 1/8 .

anyways ive given up and am now settling in to watch barn wood builders on the travel channel .

ps I did try namerick ( the nut and bolt shop ) but closes at 2pm on a Saturday thankyou for the suggestion mr TMX:thumbsup:

Bad luck!

I am fortunate to have an amazing shop 10 mins away and locally known as the "nut house" - it's brilliant, small almost hole-in-the-wall counter, huge stock, very knowledgeable staff in dust coats - just like the "old days". Over many years I've not seen them stumped yet to meet a parts request.

Out of curiosity, what are you working on ? I know some plumbing is still done on the old Imperial/British Standards but don't remember coming across a tapered connection.

Off topic but is your FSTI in WRB with a big "Lateral" sticker in the back window by chance?

@TMX yes it is the very same car .
On my inlet boost tube there is stabbing coming off it for a dump valve , this has been deleted and is now being used for a.i.t sensor . the sensor was put in a rush and was not close enough to the flow of air and the wrong side of my water/ meth injector so the sensor is 3/8 npt and is going into 3/4 depth disc but you cant wind the tap all the way through because it will make the thread parallel

I was trying to get it done this weekend as next week will be a busy work week for me before we break up for Xmas .

By the way Happy Christmas to everyone and sorry to anyone I might of offended in the past year .
