7500 miles and 5 months. Also did my MAF. I buy mostly Marathon Top Tier Gas. But 2 days ago I must have gotten a bad batch. Mileage dropped from 28 to22.5. This treatment will not help but I was ready to do it anyways. Have done the XT at least 3 times . It has 31K miles.

If your engine still runs smoothly, starts easily, etc., a change in gas mileage from 28 to 22.5 must be due mostly to random variation, driving conditions, and so forth, not the condition of the car. And with direct fuel injection, the quality of the gas has little to do with the gunk inside the intake manifold and MAP - there's no gasoline present there.

Update. I did a round trip to Pittsburgh and overall mileage was 30.5 mpg. Thats pretty normal. I got 2 mpg better on the return trip. Possibly bc the "bad" gas was pretty much gone.

Dang - it sure wasn't caused by a dirty engine!

How do you keep it so clean? LOL
