Hi all,
First boo-boo for our almost-new '21 Forester: I managed to damage our right rear tail light (where WERE you, RAB!!??) Anyway, I ordered the replacement part but discovered that it does not come with the wiring harness. No problem - I'll just remove the harness from the old taillight and reinstall it in the new.
The amber turn signal is no problem as it is an incandescent bulb and is designed to be replaced, My concern is the two remaining connectors: the light grey wiring harness connector clipped to the lamp and the rubberized connector to the main LEDs in the assembly.
I'm concerned about breaking a clip or pulling wires out, so what would be the best way to remove these parts carefully and correctly
Thanks!
