I’m having horrible problems with my 2019 Forester. I use my car for work as a Rural Letter Carrier. Especially on hot days the CVT starts surging like crazy. I added a transmission cooler to try and help the problem but it’s proving only minimal benefits. Not running the A/C helps but it’s nearly 100 degrees here. It normally happens between 30 or 40 mph. At the same general speed for one of these fake shift points. I’m at odds as to what to do, I really doubt the CVT will hold up under my driving conditions and I’m regretting buying this car now.
