I took our new Sport to Discount Tire this morning for a set of new shoes.
Stock Falkens on the right. Stock size G015s on the left.
IMO, the Forester should come with G015s. Seems owners here like 'em.

You're welcome, DT. That's where I got the DuraTracs for my truck and the Marathons for our trailer. My business was earned with great customer service.

I have had these tires mounted recently and love them as well. I was wondering if you could post pictures from the driver and passenger side. I'm trying to figure out if mine are mounted correctly as it seems they are mounted in opposite directions. Thank you so much and enjoy the new shoes!

Did you have to do a lift for those to fit? Love the look. And hate how small the tires look on my limited, but don’t want to lift the car, my wife would be unhappy.

Same here. I don’t want to lift my Sport, but the stock tires look really lame. I’d like something a little more aggressive looking.

The Yokohama Geolandar G015 tires come in the stock 225/55R-18 size. Here is a link to them online.

Yokohama Geolandar G015 225/55R-18 | Discount Tire Direct

These are a very comfortable, quiet riding tires that also have an aggressive look to them. I had a set of them on my FJ Cruiser with solid results..

Please let us know if we can help.

Thanks, I definitely will. I can’t justify getting new tires on a week old vehicle, but if I don’t like the way these Falkens perform when the weather gets bad, I’m ditching them.

Sorry for being out of touch. Ziebart has the car now, but I'll try to get a picture tomorrow.

At my age, I don't have enough years left to spend any of them driving on tires I don't like.

Tread Comparison
Left: Stock Falkens over Yokohama G015
Right: BFG K02 over Goodyear DuraTrac
All except the Falkens are Three Peak Mountain Snowflake rated. We want the quiet, comfort and MPG, but occasionally find ourselves on unplowed dirt roads in winter. We have DuraTracs on our Super Duty 4x4.

I would love to see a close up pic of them on the wheel on the side.

I have been really considering these especially since you won't need to lift it.

Man i wanted these tires so bad but being a US only sized tire they are almost $1500 just for the tires in Canada. I think I am better off downsizing to 17” wheels and Coopers.

The stock tires look so lost in the wheel well; it’s hard to believe a bigger tire will rub.
It isn't so much the diameter of the tire as it is the diagonal line between the inside of the tire tread to the outside opposite--in other words the hypotenuse, which is longer than the diameter. Further, when the suspension compresses or articulates, a tire moves up into the narrower part of the wheel well.
