Not sure if this is wide spread and unnoticed... But because I have been in my door several times now I noted water all over the inside of the door several times. So decided to test it and ran water from a hose on the outside of the door with the panel exposed inside and near the front of the exterior where the main window weather seal sits. The water literally just flows straight into the door... Looking at it there is a large gap clearly undercut from the factory. The good thing is the lower door panels clearly don't have any blockage in the relief holes or my door would be full :). The positive thing is the dealer agreed it was a defect and a new part was ordered.

I filled it with some weather stripping temporarily... But you can see where the stock seal ended... Shot is from the inside looking out.

I dare you to phone up another dealer and ask..."this door fluid.....is it a service item? Does it need changing very often?" ahahah

May need to update my speakers to marine grade hahaha
