2019 - Lowering the SK chassis?

Hello all! This is my first post on this forum and I did try to search but found nothing so here it goes....

Just purchase a new '19 Forester and I can't leave anything alone. The wife and I want to lower it badly but no one has done it yet! All the coilovers I find are listed up to MY18 but nothing yet for MY19. Visually, the suspension looks to be damn near identical but I have no way of confirming this myself. Has anyone done it yet and can show me what I'm missing or potentially point me towards some dimensions for the coilovers for the MY14-18 generation?

Isn't that the '18 chassis though? I'm wondering if there are the same or if there is something different. If the suspension is the same as MY18 then my options are wide open!

I keep finding conflicting photos of the MY18 so I was confused, but I guess you're right! I did find a video of someone with a MY17 doing an install and the suspension looks almost identical... Makes me hopeful I won't have to wait long for more options.

The 2019 SK is on the new Global Platform. It shares nothing with the 14-18 SJ. The SJ shares more in common with the 15+ WRX and 16-older Impreza Platform.

At this time, only the 17+ Impreza, 18+ Crosstrek, 19+ Ascent and 19+ Forster are on the Global Platform. 2020 Legacy and Outback will go on the Global Platform and 2021 WRX will go onto the Global Platform. There is not much for the global platform just yet but when the WRX goes onto the Global Platform, there will be tons of stuff coming out and should be compatible with the others.

Looks good buddy!!! Why the custom plates? I think we are a few who are trying to see what p^revious gen fits on the sk chassis, so it would be very interesting to learn that the suspension is the same but not the mounts and to see the difference between them.

Just out of curiosity, do you have any photos of the solution?? My wife is pestering me about lowering out Fozzy Sport (for the last 6 months since purchase) and I'm really itching to mod it myself! I've been waiting for an aftermarket part to come available for the SK but this would make things MUCH easier!

I emailed BC yesterday to ask for the part number and to confirm fitment, but haven't heard anything back yet. I will post back if they respond
