Hey everyone, brand new forester owner here. The parking sensors on our new 2019 Forester suddenly are not working. Normally when my wife is parking the garage in the car in or a parking lt when she gets too close to another vehicle or object she gets the warning indicator on the instrument cluster on the dash (beeping with 2 sets of dashed lines). All of a sudden this is no longer working. How are these sensors controlled? For example on my Truck there are on.off buttons for both from or rear. On the Forester I see no such buttons etc. Wondering if somehow they are turned off. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Just checking, you have a Forester with the Reverse Automatic Braking feature?

Starting on page 362 of the Owners Manual, it provides a good description of the functionality. On page 369 it provides instructions to turn the RAB and/or Parking Sensors on or off (there are a few steps with a picture reference, easier to point you to the manual than repeat in this post).
