Hi, it looks like the Japanese 2019 Forester has alloy pedals, which looks really nice.
Mine came with the black rubber pedals, which are 'ok', but I'm looking to replace them with the alloy pedals.
Are you aware of the replacement alloy pedal kit for the 2019 Foresters? Will the existing kits such as "C8110FG000" fit the 2019 Forester?
Thanks

I asked this weeks ago too on that original thread that was over a hundred pages long. Anyway, I would like to find out the answer to this too. I believe the Touring trims have this.

If there are Touring owners out there, it would be great to know if the alloy pedals are those with the rubber sleeve backing that simply slips on and off without having to drill or screw anything on.

Checked the site, thanks! None are an exact fit for the 2019. Jackie @SubaruPartsGirl has not been on the forum since 11/30 (vacation?). She would know if their is an OEM version we can get in the US that would fit.

Maybe another supporting vendor can help @Subaruonlineparts.com

Benny - do you guys have the JDM aluminum pedal set for the 2019 Forester? Looks like you may have a group buy forming here

I ordered some import pedals. They should be here in a few days. I think they screw on. I did see some other posts where the STI pedals could be fitted to Forester, but require a shim on the gas pedal. I prefer a permanent fit with bolts or screws over the pin style with a shim. We shall see how these work out. I think I only paid around $25.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I purchased the alloy pedals that MauiFozzie suggested, for installation do I take off the existing gas and brake rubber portion of the pedal and simply slip on the new alloy pedals? Or are there any additional steps to ensure that the new pedals are properly fitted?

The footrest pedal has the 2 openings for the anchoring pegs, so I'm assuming a flat screwdriver will work to remove the original anchoring pegs by prying them off, removing the OEM footrest "cover" and adding the alloy one. Thanks in advance.
