I have a 2018 Forester XT with factory nav and harmon kardon. I am looking at upgrading to the Kenwood DMX906S radio. Can anyone give me a shopping list of adapters I would need to retain all factory features? I would like this install to be a seamless transition that includes all features and functions just as the factory radio works......Steering wheel functions with volume, siri, phone controls, etc, USB outlets, headphone jack, back up camera, Sirius antenna (radio has tuner built in), bluetooth etc. I know this has been covered repeatedly, but I am having trouble finding one definitive thread that includes everything for a Kenwood radio. I can install myself once I figure out what I need based on my past experience and all the threads out there.

@Avsfan03 I have a 2015 XT Touring and have the same question. Plus, is Kenwood the best? Or are there other good ones.

Also, what about going to dealer and having them swap my stock unit for a newer CarPlay one? Any advantage there?
