I got my 2017 2.5i Touring a week ago. When I activate the rear window washer, I get two streams of liquid almost straight down. Is this normal, or should it be a spray similar to the front washer?

If it's broke, is it an easy fix, or do I need to head into a dealer? (Yeah, I know it's under warranty; it's just a hassle to take it in.)

Thanks - Shane

If I remember correctly, as long as the two streams of washer fluid is hitting the window you should be good. The wiper blade will push is back and forth.

Mine do the same thing and have since new (6000 miles now). I thought it was odd,... glad it's not just me. Now where's the reservoir so I can refill it?

I don't understand why Subaru could not install the mist spray nozzles like front windshield in back. Has anyone tried to install the same nozzles as front in back?

My guess would be because it's spraying down on a more vertical positioned rear window, mist wouldn't cover as efficiently as a stream would
