I recently updated to a 2017 Subaru Forester. I really liked my 2009 Forester. Any passenger over say 5'4" is very uncomfortable. Fidgets constantly and keeps pulling on the seatbelt. My husband just checked to see if the seat height could be adjusted. Very disappointed. Never thought to test drive the passenger seat. Help.

I have the same issue with my 2017. No amount of fiddling and adjusting truly fixes it. It really bothers my girlfriends leg and it hurts quite a bit after long drive. I can live with it but I'm 6' 3". A seat cushion turns off the airbag. Love the car otherwise.

If it's the seatbelt, or more specifically the shoulder belt that is the issue, ("keeps pulling on the seatbelt"), it might help to adjust the belt height on the pillar.
Other than a seat change, you could try finding taller friends...

Same here, passenger front seat is not height adjustable on base model and it's rather high even for me at 6'2". Maybe swap in base from driver seat?
