Most people prefer the stock orange or red but, I like blue. My 2010 had blue ambient lighting and 19+ Foresters got the blue lighting back so I brought the blue to me. I can finally install the foot well lights and have it all match.

Also side note, I took the rubber defuser off the cubby light to make it brighter.

What parts did you use to do that? If you left the diffuser on would it still be blue just dimmer? Looks interesting!

Yes it would be very dim if the defuser was left on. P/N 66237SA140 is what I used for the cubby. As for the overhead one, I just took a Legacy/Outback map light, cut the little board out that the LED is on and spliced/soldered it into my map light housing. Super simple and it's only 2 wires. I have some pictures of the process that I'll post later on.
