There is a large steel rod sticking out of the bottom of the rear side doors. It slots into the door frame when the door is closed. At this point, there is a black plastic piece that covers the hole in the door frame. It seems that this piece has fallen off of my '16 Forester on one side. The problem is that I can't find a replacement - I've looked all over sites that have replacement parts and I can't find it on any of them. The biggest issue is that I have no idea what it is called, so searches don't bring it up. I've tried every variation of side impact rod receiver door socket plug, but no luck.

Here is the only thing I have found online, but the terms they use seem to be non industry standard since they don't bring up anything on parts sites.

I looked around online a little. Found this site but don't know if it helps.
From that I found that the steel part is called the "catcher". A bit more internet searching led me to find that the bit I need is called the "cover-catcher" so now I have found it in several parts store for less than $3.

Thanks for your help.
