Trying to replace the rear wiper, I picked up a Trico blade that should fit J hook and bayonet arms, but that's apparently not what I have. The RainX website lists no less than 10 different type of wiper blade connectors, and says my rear blade connector is Rock Lock 3. Is that a proprietary name? It sure doesn't seem to be a common type of connector I've seen in retail stores. What type of aftermarket blades/connectors will fit my '16?

I had a rear blade that I was going to install when needed. I just went out and replaced it. 2 minute job. The blade I have is Trico Exact Fit model 14-B.
Quick and easy. No fittings to fiddle with. My first rear blade change on my 2015 Forester.
Says on the back of the package that it is for roc lock 3.

Nailed it, thanks. Menard's and Blain's didn't carry it, but found it at Meijer, if anybody's in the midwest. Those rear wipers can be somewhat hard to find.

FWIW, the 09-13 has the same oddball rear wiper arm (as did our old Outback).

I was able to mount a 16-B (same mount, wider blade) so that more of the back window is swept...

The blade is lifted from the glass, rotate the arm to turn the rubber to face you. Subaru calls it counterclockwise. There is a YouTube video “How to replace the rear wiper blade 13-18 Subaru Forester”. Silly simple once you do it.
