I'm extremely confused. I've owned this vehicle for almost 2 years and this has never happened until now. It was maybe 70* outside (ballpark range) and I rested my arm on my armrest and it literally slid and melted this section. Has anyone else had this happen? Can I buy a replacement other than trying to find junked ones?

I'm just very confused because I've rested my arm there before when it was literally 110*+ outside and this hasnt happened.

Yeah something chemical… paint thinner, acetone, nail polish, bug spray, sunscreen etc. probably just best ordering a new arm rest.

I actually dont use any of those things (at least not recently) so I'll just chalk it up as a freak accident? I'll call my dealership tomorrow to price one out. Thanks for the opinions fellas
