'15 Forrester rear hatch won't open, particularly after it has been sitting for overnight. Often when I drive it across town, I'll be able to open it again. I've tried starting the vehicle, locking and unlocking the doors, and even giving the hatch a nudge to ensure it's fully closed. Nothing seems to work.
Additionally, the backup camera only intermittently works.
It's worth mentioning that this car was once involved in a rear-end collision, but has since been professionally rebuilt. This is also a new problem that has just started to show about 5k miles after the rebuild.
Any at-home options to resolve this would be appreciated.
