Hi. 2015 2.5i Touring. 64,429 miles.

Car vibrates pretty badly from right front at certain speeds.

Got oil and filter changed on a road trip and very helpful guy told me the vibration was due to front passenger side control arm bushing failure, causing play.

Car has extended Gold Plus warranty.

Does this sound like a reasonable diagnosis?

Do you think this likely to be covered under warranty?

Thanks and drive safely.

Sounds very plausible based on the wimpy looking bushings in the lower arms, there have also been several people on here with how to upgrade the bushings with STI arms/bushings.

get the LCA's replace under warranty. i've had 2 sets replace under my Gold Plus warranty. it's a known issue and Dealerships have all the parts in house ready to go. it's that common.

I had to have the work done twice. The first dealer just replaced the bushings. When those failed I took it to a different dealer and they replaced both LCAs; not just the bushings. Gold Plus Warranty covered it. You may want to have them check the strut mounts too. Those are talked about in Bulletin 05-61-16.
