hi all, i have a 2014 forester xt with about 95k miles on it. i have been noticing that when i accerlate from a dead stop or very slow speeds (less than 15). there is a lag/boggle that causes the car to jerk and then itll be fine. doesnt matter if im accelerating gently or gunning it, the rpm stutters a bit and causes a jerking motion of the car. it does not do this at high speeds or when i have it in manual mode. any ideas? help a brother out?

Just dealt with this on my 07XT. Replaced the airflow meter sensor and it cleared up for a day or two then came back. Then decided to check my air filter (k&n). It didn’t look very dirty but for $hits and giggles I swapped a paper filter in and it runs fine now. I’d say check your air filter first. Then check the sensor.
