Subaru in the UK (and I guess the EU) have been selling these for years (ok SJ years) and they are now selling them for the new XV (Cross Trek) too.

I do wonder if the 2019 skid plates will fit 2014+ foresters. I'd rather go that route if it fits rather than going through LP or Primitive.

The 2019 is on a different platform (chassis) than the '14-'18 SJ's. I highly doubt it will fit. It's a different car (that looks similar).

Ironic that so much of their marketing material shows Forester's being driven off road.
Actually, I miss the "driving through the snow" commercials.
All I see anymore are people being "saved" by their cars because they aren't paying attention to their driving, or Golden Retrievers doing cute things. Gotta say - Neither approach makes me want to buy a new one.

As far as a skid plate... Aftermarket. It's not a need-to-be OEM part.
