Hi guys.
Anybody supercharged their 2.5L non-turbo fozzie?
Or do you know anybody manufacturing any kit of this type?
I have seen some for the BRZ, however I am not sure it will fit mine...
Any thoughts on it?

I think $ would be better spent on selling what you have, then buying an XT.
ENGINES not designed for that sort of stress are NLFTW

One problem is our 2.5s are high compression motors. Supercharging it would put to much stress on it and blow it sky high. The XT uses a lower compression motor as do most other turbo and super charged motors.

You mean turbocharging? As mentioned the compression is too high. Vehicles that are turboed have lower compression ratios. Get another vehicle.

Not one to argue, but the XT has higher compression according to the spec sheet. the base 2.5 has 10-1 and the XT has 10.6-1

No he talking about the roots type super chargers made for the BRZ. I also wondered if they would fit the foresters 2.5 or the 2.0 in the crosstrek.
