Hi,
Can someone verify if the 04 WRX stock rims will fit the 2014 Forester 2.5i?

Here are the specs:

04 WRX
rim - 16x6.5, offset 55
front caliper - 11.4"
rear caliper - 10.3"

2014 Foz
rim - 17x7, offset 48
front caliper - 11.6"
rear caliper - 10.8"

Looking at the specs, it should fit. Verification needed please.

I'm planning to use the wrx rims for winter, will be running on 205/70/16 tires.

Cheers.

Without reading up more on what the whole offset thing means, I assume that 55 is going to stick out a little bit more than the 48. I just tested out some 16" OEM Forester 10 hole steelies and they fit on our 2014 Forester Premium. The front wheel only has under a centimeter of clearance between the brake caliper and rim at the tightest point. The rear wheels are just fine. I imagine that the WRX wheels have the same amount of clearance, and if they stick out farther they should work.

Bump ^

I'm also wondering if this 16x6.5 +55 offset would fit a 2014 2.5i base?? If so, I'm planning on picking up a set of 215/70/16 winter tires to fit.

Thanks so much!
