Hi, Everyone,
I'm new here. Got my first Subaru in April, a 2015 Forester. Like most of you, the test messaging system doesn't reply. It will display or read to me, but when I hit "Send", it will give me an error message. Subaru changed the head unit for me, it is still the same problem. Thank you for sharing.

After I read online forums' posts extensively, I really think that the design of the head unit has functionality issues, not sure it is related to hardware or software, or maybe both, in retrieving and sending messages. The SOA need to investigate it work on resolving it.

I just turned the text synching off. Problem solved.
