I replaced the engine in my 2011 forester. Torque converter came unseated and was reinstalled during the process. It ran like a dream for about 20 miles. Now it is stuck in neutral. The only other symptom I know of is that I could hear the starter grind (like when you hold the key too long) upon starting it the last two times I drove it. Ideas? I am unsure if I need to pull the engine and re-seat the torque converter or if there is possibly damage that's been done to the transmission? Diagnosis and recommendations are welcome!
