I have a 2011 Non-Turbo Manual Forester Premium that had the block replaced by a dealership at 60K due to excessive oil use (5 Qts between oil changes!). Now I have 109K and it's leaking oil from the front seal per dealership. They tell me they have to pull the engine to fix the issue. According to the dealership I didn't get any extended warranty when they replaced the block. Anyone have different information or an approach to fix the problem. I'm not loosing a lot of oil, but I know it can cause other problems if not fixed...

Try some high mileage 5w30 synthetic oil. It helps with the seals and can slow down the leaking. Also better for the oil consumption issue.
