Has anyone bought or seen the Subaru Cargo organizer? I'm curious to know how well it works and if its worth the 50 bucks?

OK, so I don't buy eveything at harbor freight ...

but I did get one of these $10 on sale and have been enjoying it. it seems pretty durable.

you can have any color you want as long as it's red!

the only thing I don't like is i wish the middle divider could be removed, but the whole thing collapses to pretty small if you don't need it.

Thanks for the replies, I've seen the Thule one but its also 50 bucks at Canadian Tire here, there is also a cheaper version for 25 bucks which looks the same but I'm assuming its cheaper quality.

I'll check the harbor freigth one thanks, I don't mind red since it would match the car! lol

Thought about that thing, but went with Side & Seatback nets instead.

I can fit a lot of stuff in the nets, and still have plenty of space for the dog...

Even that big ol' jump starter is now secured via one of the side nets.

That link doesn't appear to work anymore....do they not have this organizer for the Foz anymore? I have a 2009 Foz and was hoping to find one. I could only find this link but it's for the Impreza Genuine Subaru Accessories

These were the closest generic ones I could find but i'd prefer the subaru one if I can locate it.

We've got a new 2020 Forester and are thinking about cargo organizers too, but am aiming for making it semi-permanent.

Does anyone make an organizer that is designed to tightly fit against the angled seats so it doesn't create a void at the base, either on it's side (so the long end runs from the seat to the trunk against the side of the car) or on it's back (so it runs along the length of the seats)?

Probably not. Because that would require either the entire side length or one end to be angled and could make the folding storage of the unit (I know you're looking for a more permanent always there kind of thing).... Also, given that the rear seats recline over a certain percentage, it makes it even more problematic for an angled side...

While I do not have a factory (or even aftermarket) cargo organizer, I use the accessory pocket/net thing across behind the seat and then have my recovery boards, umbrellas, folded shopping bags, etc, to fill that void - ergo no wasted space.

My back seats don't recline... :)

Hmm. I have a net off my old Outback, maybe I should play with it. Good idea, thanks!

We have one of the nets from my wife's old '08 we are using in her new 2020 along the back. I also bought her the Subaru cargo organizer which works great too. Actually thinking of getting head a second one. Very well built (heavy duty) and has proved quite useful. There are less expensive alternatives out there obviously.
