Looking at buying at 2010 Touring, 1st offer from dealer was $31764, I said lower it now current offer from dealer is 31000
which includes $400 in extras i added.

I was thinking 29,500 all told.

Getting $9000 trade value for my 02 Outback. Not bad.

Wondering what the invoice price is?
Anyone bought recently in BC or CDN got a good price?

thanks

I got mine for $29.5 in mid December. You live in Vancouver, you could shop around at other lower mainland dealers to get a better deal.

It's tricky to concentrate on the new car price when you have a trade. Either shop without trading, or worry about the bottom line.

You're absolutely right. I NEVER disclose that I have a trade-in when negotiating. I wait until we've reached an agreement on price, then I start negotiating separately on the trade-in.
