I'd start off with better pads and fluid and maybe SS lines before anything. The SH Foresters have the same brakes as the SG Foresters, which is the same as the WRX (not including the 06/07 which had 4/2 pots).

Any reason why you want bigger?

You can go with WRX 4 pots upfront, and those are an easy swap and look good. They bolt right up and use the same front rotors you already have which are 294mm.

If you want bigger rotors, you can go with LGT calipers/rotors (316mm) or with Brembos with 04 STi rotors (326mm?).

For the back, you can do the H6 upgrade, which increases the rotors to a vented 290x18mm rotor which is a big step up over the stock 266x10 stock rotor. My sizes might be off a slight bit (going off the top of my head).

For th erear yo ucan also do WRX 2 pots or STi Brembos, but those both need adapters to fit the calipers to your car. You can use the LGT rear calipers/rotors and those will bolt right up, but are not as nice looking.

I'd skip the 4-pots and go for the Brembos off an STi. I can't justify the cost of doing this on my car as I can lock up the stock brakes with Hawk pads, but to each his own.

Same here. I'm pretty sure Stan and I both put down a ton more power than the OP and we both are pretty happy with the stock calipers/Hawk pads.
