Title says it all. Anyone had droplinks fail under warranty? I'm at 41k miles and the balljoint on the arb end of the l/h link is loose. the ball seat has worn oval w/ about 1/8" play...

Question is, is it worth the hassle of going to the dealers and booking it in for a replacement, or better to go aftermarket now?

The OEM item looks weak to me, are there better alternatives that don't break the bank?

Hmm, loadsa responses there...

Anyway, ten minutes in the dealer's carpark swapped-out the link for a new'un. Parts man confirms they're weak in other applications (Impreza, earlier Foz, Leggy) but I'm the first SH to need one.

The front ARB bushes are also prone to wear :shake:

Nah, it's just I've more miles than most SHs he's sold...

Are the standard bushes poor or was it the Whiteline ones you fitted with the ARB?
