Looking at buying 18" Rota Grid wheels for my 2009 forester. I don't know what size tire to get. It's overwhelming to me trying to figure out the size that will look the best. I was hoping I could get a recommended size from some of you that have a lot of experience with tires. Tires I'm considering are the Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires, but i'm open to others.

Here's a couple of pictures now of my current stock setup. 17 x 7.0-inch 5-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. 225/55 R17 95H all-season tires.

I do atleast a 245/45/18. Any narrower and the tire might look stretched on an 8.5" rim. I bet you could fit a 255 or 265 and clear on an SH. 245/45/18 will be very close to stock size.

Any plans to lower it or will you be staying stock height?
