Hello Fozzie Masters!
May I just seek your valuable assistance please? 😊
I wanted to ask about the malfunction of the A/C Temperature Control Knob like the one below:
It seems that only the first notch (when its on 17) works on blowing the cold air. Meaningthat as soon as I turn the knob up a notch, hot air kicks in immediately. There are also no middle settings like gradual heat.
I just got the car so unfortunately have no history whatsoever of what took place before this happened.
So I was wondering, would the knob operate a motorized flap? Or sort of a heater actuator mixture from inside?
Or, would the knob itself fail as the contacts may be corroded?
Any help would truly be appreciated!
Thanks!
