Its a production numbers thing, as well as an enthusaist thing. There were only about 240 XT sports made with a 5mt in 2008, so they are very hard to come by.

Indeed. Curious what the production numbers were for '07. I looked into it once, but never got an answer. Considering selling mine soon, but I just don't know if I can part with it. 🙃

Congrats on the BAT sale. I watched it closely! Seemed like a lot of people were turned off by the rust, but I think it still did fairly well at 10k. Might want to mark this one sold here on the forum btw.
