I really like my '08 as its the last year of the wagon body style. But one of my biggest complaints is the lack of an electronic brake-based limited slip (TCS/Xmode). I've gotten stuck in two-wheel spin many times even with the stock rear mechanical LSD.

Are there any software modifications that have been done to add electronic brake-based limited slip functionality on older models with ABS? The basic hardware is there except the electric brake actuator so I understand any software-only mod would require driver press of the break pedal in order to actuate this functionality (I think humvees are like this).

Super interesting stuff at first glance. Although from what I can tell I've never had issues with the center differential failing to "lock" or fully engage the rear driveshaft. I've never been in a situation where just the front wheel(s) were spinning and the center diff failed to deliver enough power to the rear. Also Ive read that putting the gear selector in 1 or 2 causes the center differential to effectively lock on demand.
